MOHS CLOSURES

Micrographically Oriented Histographic Surgery (Mohs) is a process where cancer is removed and evaluated under a microscope until it is all removed. This is typically performed by a Dermatologist.  The closure part of the surgery is typically done in the same day often by a Plastic Surgeon. This involves direct closure of skin, moving tissue around or taking skin from another area of the body. This is generally performed with a local anesthetic in the office. 

SCAR REVISIONS

This is a plastic surgery procedure to improve the appearance of a scar located anywhere on the body. Scars come in many shapes and sizes from acne, trauma, surgery, and multiple other reasons. We can help improve these with excision, injections, and lasers. 

EXCISIONS

This is removal of a growth on the body, this can be cancerous or non-cancerous. The specimen is generally sent for pathology to determine the type of lesion. This is generally performed in the office with a local anesthetic.

OTOPLASTY

This is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the ears. Patients with oversized, misshapen, or protruding ears can see dramatic improvement after an otoplasty procedure.  Otoplasty is one of the most common procedures for children over the age of five. Both children and adults can potentially benefit from surgery to reposition their ears. Otoplasty will not alter hearing ability.

RHINOPHYMA

Is an inflammatory skin disorder causing the appearance of the nose to be deformed and enlarged.  It is more prevalent in men. Treatment includes removal, heat and sometimes lasers. It is performed with a local anesthetic in the office.

EARLOBE REPAIR

Heavy earrings, gauges, or traumatic accidents can cause tears in the skin of the earlobe. This is repaired by removing tissue and closure of skin with sutures. This is performed in the office with local anesthetic. Patients may resume normal activities the same day.

UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY

The skin surrounding the eyes is the thinnest and most delicate on the body. The constant movement of the eye, exposure to UV rays, aging and other factors can cause lines, wrinkles, stretching and sagging on the eyelids. Blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift surgery, can remove excess skin and tighten the upper eyelids for a rejuvenated appearance.

FACIAL THREADING

A non-surgical face-lift procedure. It focuses on lifting facial features to ensure naturally looking skin. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles while promoting the production of collagen to add more volume to the treated area.  Sutures are inserted under the skin to lift and tighten sagging skin.  

FAT INJECTIONS

Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer or fat injections, is intended to fill areas that are deficient in or have lost volume. Fat is harvested using liposuction from a donor area which has excess fat, such as the abdomen or outer thighs. The fat is removed by liposuction, then prepared and reinjected in tiny amounts to restore volume in the area of concern.

IN-OFFICE LIPOSUCTION

Laser liposuction techniques allow for further enhancing of your liposuction procedure by not only sculpting and reducing areas of stubborn fat, but by lifting and tightening these areas as well. One of the most significant differences between traditional liposuction and laser lipo is that the fat cells are liquefied with powerful laser energy. This method is gentler and causes less bruising.

Areola reduction focuses on the skin that surrounds the nipple. The goal is to reshape this area to give it a smaller, more natural look. This treatment can be performed or men and women.

INVERTED NIPPLES

Many women are born with large or inverted nipples or develop them after breast-feeding suffer insecurities.  They can be difficult to hide under clothing. Nipple reduction can decrease the width and length of the nipple. This can also affect men and is often combined with gynecomastia surgery.

GYNECOMASTIA

The medical term for male breast overdevelopment. It can help men seeking physical relief by improving the appearance of their chest to become more masculine and well-defined. Once gynecomastia develops in a man, the tissue will typically not resolve without surgical intervention. Treatment involves surgical excision and removal of the excess breast tissue. Liposuction is not effective at removing gynecomastia tissue; however, it may be used as an adjunct to excision in cases where excess fatty tissue is also present.
